I’ve said this on every podcast I’ve hosted or guested on since the playoff series ended, and I will continue to say it on every media platform: Jalen Duren gave it everything he had in these playoffs.
There had been some talk about Duren from the community at different points in the season that he didn’t always give maximum effort on both ends. Whether that is a sentiment you agree with or not, it was something Duren squashed emphatically during the playoffs.
Playing 34 minutes per game for Detroit in this first-round series, Duren deserved every break he was given.
